How
is admission made to ITI’s? The
Academic year commences form 1st August every year.
Notification inviting application for admission will be published
in the leading newspapers of the State normally in the month of May
every year. Application forms and other details may be obtained from
Principals of all the ITI’s. Eligible
candidates are called for counseling and on the spot admission is made
based on merit cum reservation. (like CET pattern). Seats
are reserved for various categories
like GM, SC, ST, Category-I , IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB and
horizontal reservation is followed for 5% of those who are
studying in Kannada Medium Ist to 10th Standard,
physically Handicapped, Women and Ex-Servicemen as per existing
